About Clinical Trials
HIV/AIDS clinical trials are research studies in which new therapies and prevention treatment strategies for HIV infection and AIDS are tested in humans. These studies are conducted by physicians and other health care professionals and can help determine the usefulness of experimental drugs in treating HIV infection.
If you got tested and you have a new diagnosis of HIV-1 Infection you can be part of this Study. A Phase 3b multi-center. Open label, single arm, 53 week pilot study, evaluating the feasibility, efficacy and safety of a rapid Test and Treat intervention in newly diagnosed HIV-1 Infected adults using a fixed dose combination of dolutegravir plus lamivudine (Dovato) as a first line regimen.
